01 · OVERVIEW

What is Falcon?

What the project does

Falcon is designed as an operational website for a service business. Instead of stopping at marketing pages, it includes customers, service/product data, booking records, addresses, OTP authentication and an administrative back office.

How it benefits the user/business

  • Combines customer-facing service discovery with operational workflows.
  • Supports custom authentication using phone/email and OTP flows.
  • Turns service and product information into managed backend records.
  • Adds booking status and customer history rather than only collecting enquiries.

Platform & environment

Full-stack Django web application with a custom user model, SQLite development database, server-rendered templates, static/media handling and administrative modules.

04 · BACKEND

What role does the backend play?

The backend/application layer is responsible for connecting the interface to the project's data, business logic and user workflows.

  • Django models define users, OTPs, passwords, categories, products, services, bookings, addresses and booking status.
  • Views coordinate authentication, catalogue access, booking creation and customer history.
  • The admin modules provide operational controls over products, categories, services and bookings.
  • The backend is the core of the product: it turns a static service website into an actual service-management workflow.
05 · USAGE

How is it used?

A visitor can explore services, register/login, choose a service or product, provide appointment and location information, create a booking and later view booking status/history. Administrators manage the catalog and booking lifecycle from the admin side.

Project maturity: Substantial. The purpose of this page is to explain the implementation that exists in the repository, while keeping production-readiness claims separate.
06 · LIMITATIONS

Current boundaries

The current repository includes development-oriented configuration and powerful admin tooling. Production deployment should use environment-based secrets, hardened settings, proper permissions, production database/storage and testing.
